Worst way to miss:( :(

There was once this guy who is very much in love withHis girl. This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces ofpaper cranes as a gift to his girl.
Although, at that time he was just a small fry in hiscompany, his future doesn't seem too bright, they werevery happy together. Until one day, his girl told himshe was going to Paris and will never come back.
She also told him that she cannot visualize any futurefor the both of them, so they went their own waysthere and then...
Heartbroken, the guy agreed. But when he regained hisconfidence, he worked hard day and night, slogging hisbody and mind just to make something out of himself.
Finally with all the hard work and the help offriends, this guy had set up his own company ....
You never fail until you stop trying. One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couplesharing an umbrella in the rain walking to somedestination.
Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. Itdidn't take him long to realize they were his girl'sparents.
With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowlybeside the couple, wanting them to spot him in hisluxury sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn'tthe same any more; he had his own company, car, condo, etc. He made it! What he saw next confused him, thecouple was walking towards a cemetery, and so he gotout of his car and followed...and he saw his girl, aphotograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him fromher tombstone and he saw his paper cranes right besideher...
Her parents saw him. He asked them why this hadhappened. They explained, she did not leave for Franceat all. She was ill with cancer. She had believed thathe will make it someday, but she did not want to behis obstacle... therefore she had chow! sen to leave him.Just because someone doesn't love you the way you wantthem to, doesn't mean they don't love you with allthey have. She had wanted her parents to put his papercranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fatebrings him to her again...he can take some of thoseback with him...
Once you have loved, you will always love. For what'sin your mind may escape but what's in your heart willremain forever.
The guy just wept...The worst way to miss someone isto be sitting right beside her knowing you can't haveher, see her or be with her ever again.........hopeyou understand.
Find time to re alize that there is one person whomeans so much to you, for you might wake up onemorning losing that person who you thought meant nothing to you.

KINDNESS Pays !

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door todoor to pay his way through school, found he ! had onlyone thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young womanopened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought helooked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. Hedrank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"
"You don't owe me anything," she replied "Mother hastaught us never to accept payment for a kindness." Hesaid... "Then I thank you from my heart."
As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt;stronger physically, but his faith in God and man wasstrong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.
Years later that young woman became critically ill.The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent herto the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. HowardKelly was called in for the consultation. When heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back tothe consultation room determined to do his best tosave her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case.
After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kellyrequested the business office to pass the final billto him for approval. He looked at it,then wrote something on the edge and the billwas sent to her room. She feared to open it, for shewas sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally, she looked, and somethingcaught ; her attention on the side as She read thesewords.....
"Paid in full with one glass of milk." (Signed) Dr.Howard Kelly.
Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart! prayed: "Thank You, GOD, that Your love has spreadabroad through human hearts and hands."

Laws of attraction

How can you use the law of attraction? How can you practice it? What steps do you need to take to use it? You may not believe it, but the steps you need to take are easy. But you must do them, believe in them and believe in yourself, or they will not work. So are you ready to get tuned into the universe and get clear? Are you ready to work in harmony with the laws of the universe and become successful? If so here are the steps you need to follow:
1. Get clear. You must know exactly what it is you want. If you are in doubt, vague, or too general, you won't get anywhere. You must know exactly what it is you want first. Only then will you be able to focus and concentrate on that thought.

2. Visualize what you want and vibrate to it. You must form a mental image in your mind so you can see it as if you had it in your possession. You must understand what it is you are seeing and look at it as if you can touch it. When you visualize it, you have to vibrate to it. Don't just see the image, feel it, touch it, let it become part of you. If it is a woman you want, visualize the woman you are looking for. Picture her hair color. See how tall she is. Notice her facial features. Visualize yourself holding her, hugging her. Then transfer this image to your heart and use your feelings to convey how you feel about this woman. For women, you can do the same for a man. Repeat the same process, the only difference is you will be looking at a man instead of a woman. Regardless of your sexual preference, you just have to visualize the person in front of you and see him/her as being there with you and experience the joy of that person in your presence.

3. Now allow it to be a part of you. You can allow it by simply agreeing to it and say yes to the idea that you want it. When you do this, you are in fact allowing it to come to you. If you visualize receiving a check for $1000, picture yourself accepting it while saying "yes" and "thank you." Hold it like it is yours. Embrace it. Tell the universe you acknowledge it and want it. Tell the universe "thank you for giving it to me" and then accept it. This way you are allowing it to come into your life.

4. Take action to fulfill your request. You must work in harmony with what you wish and do so without wavering. You must make a concerted effort to always dwell on wanting it. By doing so, you will attract it without any obstacles in your path. Remember, when you think, you then feel. After you feel, you take action. This action gives you your results. It works every time, no exceptions.

History of roses

Roses have a long and colorful history. They have been symbols of love, beauty, war, and politics. The rose is, according to fossil evidence, 35 million years old. In nature, the genus Rosa has some 150 species spread throughout the Northern Hemisphere, from Alaska to Mexico and including northern Africa. Garden cultivation of roses began some 5,000 years ago, probably in China. During the Roman period, roses were grown extensively in the Middle East. They were used as confetti at celebrations, for medicinal purposes, and as a source of perfume. Roman nobility established large public rose gardens in the south of Rome. After the fall of the Roman Empire, the popularity of roses seemed to rise and fall depending on gardening trends of the time.

During the fifteenth century, the rose was used as a symbol for the factions fighting to control England. The white rose symbolized York, and the red rose symbolized Lancaster, as a result, the conflict became known as the "War of the Roses."
Roses were in such high demand during the seventeenth century that royalty considered roses or rose water as legal tender, and they were often used as barter and for payments. Napoleon's wife Josephine established an extensive collection of roses at Chateau de Malmaison, an estate seven miles west of Paris in the 1800s. This garden became the setting for Pierre Joseph Redoute's work as a botanical illustrator. In 1824, he completed his watercolor collection "Les Rose," which is still considered one of the finest records of botanical illustration.
It wasn't until the late eighteenth century that cultivated roses were introduced into Europe from China. Most modern-day roses can be traced back to this ancestry. These introductions were repeat bloomers, making them unusual and of great interest to hybridizers, setting the stage for breeding work with native roses to select for hardiness and a long bloom season. Many of these early efforts by plant breeders are of great interest to today's gardeners.

Roses are once again enjoying a resurgence in popularity, specifically, shrub roses and old garden roses. Gardeners realize that these roses fit the lifestyle of today's gardeners who want roses that are not as demanding with regard to disease control, offer excellent floral quality, have excellent winter hardiness, and fit into shrub borders and perennial gardens without seeming out of place.

To be successful in growing roses in Midwest gardens, one needs to be aware of some basic considerations. Attention to plant selection, a basic knowledge of the wide array of classes available, basic culture information, and information about potential disease and insect problems will go a long way in making roses an enjoyable addition to the garden.
This short guide to rose gardening will hopefully help sort through some of the confusion about roses and entice you to include one or more of these plants in your garden.

I will tell you who you are

John Blanchard stood up from the bench, straightened his Army uniform, and studied the crowd of people making their way through Grand Central Station. He looked for the girl whose heart he knew, but whose face he didn't, the girl with the rose. His interest in her had begun thirteen months before in a Florida library. Taking a book off the shelf he found himself intrigued, not with the words of the book, but with the notes penciled in the margin. The soft handwriting reflected a thoughtful soul and insightful mind. In the front of the book, he discovered the previous owner's name, Miss Hollis Maynell. With time and effort he located her address. She lived in New York City. He wrote her a letter introducing himself and inviting her to correspond. The next day he was shipped overseas for service in World War II. During the next year and one month the two grew to know each other through the mail. Each letter was a seed falling on a fertile heart. A romance was budding. Blanchard requested a photograph, but she refused. She felt that if he really cared, it wouldn't matter what she looked like. When the day finally came for him to return from Europe, they scheduled their first meeting - 7:00 PM at the Grand Central Station in New York. "You'll recognize me," she wrote, "by the red rose I'll be wearing on my lapel." So at 7:00 he was in the station looking for a girl whose heart he loved, but whose face he'd never seen. I'll let Mr. Blanchard tell you what happened:
A young woman was coming toward me, her figure long and slim. Her blonde hair lay back in curls from her delicate ears; her eyes were blue as flowers. Her lips and chin had a gentle firmness, and in her pale green suit she was like springtime come alive. I started toward her, entirely forgetting to notice that she was not wearing a rose. As I moved, a small, provocative smile curved her lips. "Going my way, sailor?" she murmured. Almost uncontrollably I made one step closer to her, and then I saw Hollis Maynell. She was standing almost directly behind the girl. A woman well past 40, she had graying hair tucked under a worn hat. She was more than plump, her thick-ankled feet thrust into low-heeled shoes. The girl in the green suit was walking quickly away. I felt as though I was split in two, so keen was my desire to follow her, and yet so deep was my longing for the woman whose spirit had truly companioned me and upheld my own. And there she stood. Her pale, plump face was gentle and sensible, her gray eyes had a warm and kindly twinkle. I did not hesitate. My fingers gripped the small worn blue leather copy of the book that was to identify me to her. This would not be love, but it would be something precious, something perhaps even better than love, a friendship for which I had been and must ever be grateful. I squared my shoulders and saluted and held out the book to the woman, even though while I spoke I felt choked by the bitterness of my disappointment. "I'm LieutenantJohn Blanchard, and you must be Miss Maynell. I am so glad you could meet me; may I take you to dinner?" The woman's face broadened into a tolerant smile. "I don't know what this is about, son," she answered, "but the young lady in the green suit who just went by, she begged me to wear this rose on my coat. And she said if you were to ask me out to dinner, I should go and tell you that she is waiting for you in the big restaurant across the street. She said it was some kind of test!" It's not difficult to understand and admire Miss Maynell's wisdom. The true nature of a heart is seen in its response to the unattractive.
"Tell me whom you love," Houssaye wrote, "And I will tell you who you are..."
